What to Expect

Worship - Sunday at 9 am

Sunday worship services take place in our auditorium, where you can expect to experience singing, prayer, teaching, and the Lord’s Supper.

During the Lord’s Supper, we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us and serve both bread and “fruit of the vine,” which several members will help pass around the auditorium.  At this point, we will also take up an offering, where members are able to contribute to the church financially.  Don’t worry—if you are visiting, you are not expected to give.  On Sunday evenings, this will take place in our Overflow Room.

You can also expect to hear an engaging lesson from the Bible. We think you will find these messages both challenging and uplifting. To listen to previous messages, click here.

There is no dress code for our worship services or classes.  You will see some members in suits, others in jeans, and many in between.  Please feel comfortable coming as you are and participating as you are comfortable.  We hope you will feel at home whether or not you have attended church before.

Wee Worship (ages 3 and 4) and KidzPraise (K–2nd Grade) are special worship services designed for children, held on Sunday mornings.  Our worship leader will dismiss kids for these services during the worship services, so you can simply bring your children to the auditorium with you for the start of worship.  Child care is also provided during Sunday AM services in our nursery center for newborns through 2-year-olds.  Find out more about our Children’s Ministry here.

 Classes and Small Groups

Get to know us personally after worship in our classes and small groups.  We have classes for all ages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, covering a wide variety of Biblical topics and current issues.  Some of our members also participate in small groups, which meet in members’ homes and in other locations around Chattanooga.

What We Believe

It is our desire to create disciple-making communities. We do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and use its scripture as the basis for our teaching.  If you have questions about specific beliefs or practices, please contact our Preaching Minister, Chris Barnett, at .

We would love to see you soon!
