What is The Bridge?

The Bridge is a ministry designed specifically for our current 5th and 6th graders and it serves as a key part of our Kids Ministry. It provides a space where preteens can connect with God and each other in ways that are relevant and engaging for their age and stage of development.

When Does The Bridge Meet?

Each Sunday after our communion time, we dismiss our Wee Worship, Kidz Praise, and Bridge Kids to the lobby to be checked in and go to their own worship spaces. The Bridge will help lead worship during Kidz Praise, and then head to The Bridge classroom for a lesson and activities.

At 11:00 AM during regular class time, The Bridge kids will remain in their classroom for small group time.

Why The Bridge Matters for Your Child

We know that 5th and 6th grade is a unique season—kids begin asking deeper questions, seeking more independence, and forming stronger peer connections. That’s why in 2024, we launched The Bridge as a transitional group between our Kids Ministry and Youth Ministry.

Our goal is to walk with your child through this important phase, helping them grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally in a setting built just for them.

We’re excited about what God is doing in and through The Bridge, and we look forward to partnering with you to help your child grow in faith during this pivotal season.
